Holly Lyncooke wanted to pursue a higher-level master’s degree to complement her MBA and ongoing PhD studies. Upon discovering the UChicago Master of Liberal Arts (MLA), she recognized its exceptional quality of teaching as unparalleled, offering a robust foundation for her future academic career.

With extensive experience in Information Security and IT auditing, Holly has a strong track record in defining and maintaining governance, risk, and compliance programs across both the private and public sectors. She is also passionate about leadership in cybersecurity, focusing on the development, enforcement, and management of security frameworks and compliance programs. Holly plans to leverage the MLA program to secure a university teaching position abroad.

An accomplished student, Holly is currently a doctoral candidate in Business Administration. She values continuous learning and adapting, and she sees the MLA as a natural extension of her academic journey.
